The dining room also features a walk-in granite fireplace with two stone benches for those who might want to partake in a cigar by the fire. Cottaging, though, is all about the outdoors and this property wouldn’t be complete without various decks positioned around the main cottage to enjoy quiet, peaceful moments surrounded by nature. The covered porch accesses the 12-person hot tub and stone natural gas fire pit at the front of the cottage.

On the forest side, there is a landscaped grassy area large enough to set up a game of croquet, a trampoline, a volleyball court and more. Beautiful gardens and a 12’ tall inukshuk complete the backyard. The deck also acts as a breezeway to a second living room which also connects to the main cottage via a second floor hallway. The secondary building features an entertainment area with a gas fireplace and wet bar. Below the cottage, the waterfront boardwalk is decked out for summer fun – swimming platform, grated angular stairs for easy access in and out of the water, lots of docking space and a lifts for the jet skis. The boathouse can accommodate several water vehicles with electric/hydraulic lifts to safely house and protect your boats from the open water, and there is also lots of storage space for all your water toys. The upper level of the boathouse is the perfect haven for a long-term visitor or older children. It includes 2 bedrooms, a sleeping loft, full bath and open concept living, dining and kitchen areas. The vast walk-out balcony overlooking the south side of the lake is a wonderful spot to to relax with a morning cup of coffee.
